Kerker family
Jacob Jensen was the son of Jens Hansen and Sophia Hansen.
He was born in Denmark in 1859.
Jacob married Johanna Marie Sorensen,
who was the daughter of Soren Holmgaard and Anna Christina Roland,
and they had a number of children.
Anna Sophia Jensen, later called Sophie Anne,
who married Thomas Dagobert Kerker,
four children
Lemuel Jensen, married; moved to San Diego; several children
James Jensen, married Emma, several children including a son
James Jensen Jr, who moved to Missouri
Phil Jensen, married Marie Paal; no children; lived in Currie, Minn.
William Jensen, a college professor at the Missouri School of Mines
in Rolla, MO; married Emma Prout; several children
Glenna Kathryn Jensen,
married Walter Francis Sweetman;
they lived in Currie, Minnesota, and had several children
Jacob and Johanna migrated to the United States,
settling first near Morrocco, Indiana, and then Currie, Minnesota,
altho Jacob spent some of his later years in Oklahoma and Texas.
