PostalCare is a professional enterprise-level email server protection and management system used by organizations and Internet Service Providers (ISP).
PostalCare uses an advanced technology that virtually eliminates the problem of false positives encountered when using most other anti-spam products on the market today. Our tests have shown that PostalCare reduces unwanted emails by over 95%.
The purpose of this Guide is to present the information you will need to navigate the PostalCare web interface. The intent is to provide you, the user, with simple and concise explanations of the PostalCare system and features. This manual is designed to provide a basic and thorough explanation of each element.
This reference manual is written for System, Division and Group Administrators of the PostalCare Email Management and Protection system.
If you have any feedback or technical issues, please email:
Pop-up windows must be enabled with the PostalCare web
interface.
1.2 PostalCare Web Interface Access Levels
There are 5 different access levels (permissions) to the PostalCare web
interface. They are:
Level Name | Access Permissions |
---|---|
Email Recipient | Recipients have no PostalCare web interface access. |
PostalCare User | Users have basic PostalCare web interface access. Users can login to PostalCare, view their own email statistics, and maintain their own Whitelist and Blacklist. |
Group Administrator | Group Administrators can login to PostalCare and perform maintenance on anything having to do with their entire group, including users and recipients. |
Division Administrator | Division Administrators can login to PostalCare and perform maintenance on anything that has to do with the entire division, including groups, users and recipients. |
System Administrator | System Administrators have complete PostalCare access. |
When an email recipient is configured into PostalCare, the
administrator has the option to assign access privileges that allow the
recipient access to the PostalCare web interface. See Chapter 15, Email Recipients for
more information on adding new email recipients in PostalCare.
