Van Keuren family
Thomas James Van Keuren was born on 4 Oct. 1944 in Bedford, Indiana,
the second child of
He grew up in St Paul, attended St Columba grade school,
St Thomas Military Academy and College,
served in the Air Force, including a stint in Viet Nam,
and returned to college, obtaining a bachelor's degree in Electrical
Engineering at the University of Minnesota.
He moved to Los Angeles to take a job with Hughes Aircraft,
and still works for them in 1997.
In 1976 Tom married Janis Russo in California.
Janis is the daughter of Louise Russo.
They have two sons.

The family moved to Tucson, Arizona, in July 1994,
where they live in a huge house in Oro Valley.
