53.1 Affiliate Inquiry Screens
After you select AFFINQ from the menu, the first of two "affiliate
inquiry" screens is displayed.

53.2 Displaying Affiliate Data
After the first affiliate inquiry screen is displayed, you provide the
affiliate ID of the affiliate you want to inquire on.
You are asked for the affiliate ID.

The affiliate ID is required. The affiliate must exist in the affiliate file.
You can enter the full affiliate ID, or the affiliate number which is a number from 1 to 99999.
After the affiliate ID is entered, the first screen of affiliate data is displayed.
Note: Only general information such as address, phone, officers, etc., is displayed for affiliates that you do NOT have access to.

To go back to the first screen, select the "Prev Screen" option from the menu bar at the bottom of the screen.
53.3 Inquiry Options
When the affiliate's data is displayed, a bar menu appears at the
bottom of the screen. This menu shows the different actions you can
take. For example, you can display affiliate membership statistics,
notes, review officer information, etc.
Not all of the menu options appear in the menu bar. To see the options that are not shown, press the right arrow key several times to move the cursor through the menu options toward the ">>" symbol.

When the ">>" disappears, all options have been displayed.

Use the left arrow to move toward the "<<" symbol to see the options not shown.
Select "Next Affiliate" to erase the current affiliate display, and get back to the affiliate ID prompt.
Note: Local users can only display affiliate information for their own local.

Select "Exit" to exit out of the inquiry procedure and return to the inquiry procedures menu.
The following sections describe each of the other bar menu selections.

The "Statistics" option is used to create a summary report of active members by class.
When "Statistics" is selected, you are placed into the procedure that creates the class summary report. You can then answer the prompts and generate a report. For detailed information on this report, refer to Chapter 39, CLASSSUM - Membership Summary by Class.
The following is an example of a membership summary by class report.

The "Notes" option displays affiliate notes. When "Notes" is selected, the following screen is displayed:

You have to specify which affiliate notes you want to see. You can display all of this affiliate's notes, or display notes for a specific period of time. For example, you might want to see notes for the period 01/01/1998 through 06/01/1998.
After the "Notes" screen is displayed, you are asked for the notes begin date.

Select "No" to go back to the ending date prompt.
Press <ESC> to skip the notes display and return to the display of affiliate data.
If no affiliate notes are found for the date range you entered, the message:

During the notes display, you can select any of the options shown in the menu bar at the bottom of the screen. One, two or three options are provided depending on the number of screens of affiliate notes.
Select "Next" to display the next screen of notes. If "Next" is displayed in the menu bar, there is at least one more screen of affiliate notes.
Select "Prev" to display the previous screen of notes. If "Prev" is displayed in the menu bar, there were at least two screens of notes.
Select "Exit" when you have completed the notes review. "Exit" takes you back to the affiliate data display.

The "Officers" option displays officer information for this affiliate.
When "Officers" is selected, the officer inquiry screen is displayed, and you select the officer codes you want to inquiry on. For detailed information on officer inquiries, refer to Chapter 145, OFFINQ - Officer Inquiry.
After the officer inquiry is completed, you are returned to the affiliate display screen.

The "Dispensation" option displays dispensation information for an affiliate (if there has been any dispensations).

If an affiliate has branches, you can display branch information by selecting the "Branches" option. If the affiliate does NOT have branches, "Branches" is NOT shown as an option on the bar menu.
