Situation Reports summarize sales activities by product, salesperson and source.

Next, you see your report. It includes Situation Code and Count.

Situation Code

The Situation Code shows you the various sales stages of the product. In the following sample report, suppose a code 080 means "sale was made," and it has a count, say, of 42 after it. This would mean that there were 80 sales of WID. A code of 160 with a count of 25, might mean that 25 WIDs are in the purchasing department, waiting for a P.O., etc.

To EDIT and CREATE letters

The Sales System offers the salesperson an easy way to edit (make changes in) an existing letter and to create letters.

Example:

You may want to edit a letter that you are writing to a prospect who is interested in your product. Suppose you want to make some changes in the last line, e.g., change the line that reads

To edit a letter, at the Master Menu Item prompt, enter EDI:
