7.1 IRIS Files and Data
Basically, the IRIS data consists of:
Recordings | Sessions that have been recorded
Domain data | Domain names and IP addresses
Audit data | Detailed audit information |
The IRIS data is stored in several files that IRIS Manager allows you to maintain. The files you can maintain are:
Recordings file --- IRIS stores recorded sessions information in a recordings file. This file can only be purged and/or the recordings archived. The recordings reports are created from data in this file.
Domain file --- The domain file contains information about domain names and IP addresses.
Audit file --- IRIS stores audit information in the audit file. This file can only be purged and/or archived. The audit reports are created from data in the audit file. See Section 9.5, Audit Reports, for more information on audit data.
The Maintenance menu options allow you to maintain the IRIS files.

7.2 Domain File Maintenance
The domain file maintenance procedures allow you to give domain names
to IP addresses, or to change current domain names. For example, if you
give the IP address "203.168.8.134" the domain name of "TESTER", you
will see "TESTER" on session displays and browser access reports
instead of "203.168.8.134". Also, if you already have the domain name
"TEST.TTINET.COM" and want to shorten the name to "TTI_TEST", you can
do that.
The domain file contains domain name records. Each domain record contains information about the domain name, IP address, and logged activity. You can add, change, delete (user added records), and inquire on domain file records.
To perform maintenance or inquire on information in the domain file, select the Domains option from the Maintenance menu.
