The fifth season of "Celebrity Fit Club" on VH1 will see "The Brady Bunch" star Maureen McCormick trying to lose 25 to 30 pounds. "My daughter said, 'Mom I think you should do it,'" said McCormick when asked why she agreed to appear on the reality show. "For the past few years, I had been totally out of exercising, just eating and going crazy. I thought, 'What a great opportunity to do something positive.'" Click here for more information.

Paramount has released the final season of The Brady Bunch on DVD featuring all original twenty two episodes un-cut. Season five retails for 38.99. Maureen participated in The Volvo Hyannis Port Challenge, which is a world-class cycling fundraiser for Best Buddies International, a foundation created by Anthony Kennedy Shriver, whose programs "buddy" mainstream middle school, high school and college students with students having intellectual disabilities.

Maureen and her daughter Natalie were seen together attending the premiere for the new movie Cinderella Man. The event was a fundraiser for Best Buddies, an organization founded by Anthony Kennedy Shriver to improve the lives of the mentally disabled.

Maureen currently has a new project on the horizon. A new movie titled Stone & Ed. Stone and Ed is about two brothers who have another lazy morning until they unwittingly discover that they aren't actually brothers so they set out on a quest for the truth-they encounter a beautiful blonde in handcuffs, get tangled up with the largest Mexican drug dealer, and the sloppiest spooks the CIA has ever trained, along with a cast of zany characters all after the same thing...getting Stone & Ed. Maureen plays the role of the Dream Mother in this production. More information TBA.

Still Brady After All These Years has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in the category of "Outstanding Special Class Special". The awards will air on May 20th on CBS at 9:00pm EST - Live from Radio City Music Hall.

A&E is working on a new 2-hour special related to The Brady Bunch. The special is set to air June 24th. Interviews will include most of the cast, including Robbie Rist, creator Sherwood Schwartz, along with fans of the show. Stay tune for more details.

Paramount has confirmed that the release date of Season 2 of The Brady Bunch on DVD has been pushed back to July 12, 2005. Season 3 is now expected sometime in the Fall of 2005 and both Season 4 & 5, if released, will be coming in 2006. Paramount has posted their own official website related to the release of the 1st season on DVD. Includes a potato sack race game for visitors, along with clips and photos.
