A menu list of the source names is displayed. You can include all the source names on the Audit Report or select specific source names.

To include ALL source names, select all. "ALL" is displayed in the "Selection Criteria" box, and you proceed to the next report criteria prompt.
To select a source name, use the mouse to select the name you want from the menu of source names. The name is displayed in the "Selection Criteria" box. Select as many names as you wish.

To remove one of the selected names, select the Remove Source Name option at the bottom of the menu. A menu list of the selected source names is displayed.

Use the mouse to select the name you want to remove. The name is removed from the list shown in the "Selection Criteria" box. Remove as many names as you wish.
Select accept current default when you are done selecting source names.
Use the reset menu option to erase the current selections and start over.
Your final selections are displayed in the "Selection Criteria" box.
A menu list of the item names is displayed. The items are the activities or procedures that IRIS sources perform. You can include all the item names on the Audit Report or select specific item names.

The options are:
Summary Report | Shows the count of items and percent of the total count, within your selection criteria, for the first sort field specified. | |
Detail Report | Prints one line for each source item. The detail report level breaks on the first sort field specified. The report shows date, time, source, activity item, item data and count. |
Your selection is displayed in the "Report Type" box.

If you wish to go back and change some information, select NO to go back to the previous prompt, or press the \ (backslash) key until you back up to the item you want to change. |
If you elect to create the audit report, the report is generated and you are asked for an output option (see Section 5.6.2, Report Output Options). After the report has been output, you are returned to the Reports menu.
If no audit items are found for the audit report criteria, the message:
No audit items for given criteria
is displayed, and you are asked for other report criteria.
The following is an example of a Summary Audit Report:

9.6 Top IP Address Report
The IP Address menu option creates a report of active
IP addresses by volume.

The Top IP Address Report shows, in descending order, the most active IP addressed systems on the network. Activity is measured by volume of activity (in K bytes). The report information includes:

Percent | Percentage of total K bytes |
When you select the IP Address report menu option, the report is generated and you are asked for an output option (see Section 5.6.2, Report Output Options).

The IP Connection menu option creates a report of IP
connection activity by volume.

The Top IP Connection Report shows, in descending order, the most active connections between two systems on the network. Activity is measured by volume of activity (in K bytes). The report information includes:

9.8 Top Browser Accesses Report
The Browser Accesses menu option creates a report of
browser activity.

The Top Browser Accesses Report shows, in descending order, the most active World Wide Web (WWW) browsing users. Activity is measured by number of WWW pages accessed. The report information includes:

The Explore option which appears on the Output Options menu, allows you to get further information about the browsers shown on the Top Browser Accesses Report.

When Explore is selected, a menu of browser addresses is displayed. You can then select a browser and get a report of URLs accessed by the browser. You can also get a report of other browsers who accessed the URLs on the list.
When you select the Explore option, you are placed into the "browser accesses" procedure which is explained in detail in Section 9.2, Browser Accesses Report.
